Who uses all 14 days of a 14 day ticket?
Just a general question prompted by the discussion on prepaying for Genie+ with the 14-day UK tickets...
Who actually uses all 14 days of their 14-day tickets, whether Disney, Universal or Seaworld? Remember there's no right or wrong answer, I'm just curious as to how many do use all of the days on these tickets. Personally, I think we've only ever used a maximum of 9 days of our 14 day Disney ticket and most of the time it's been 7 days or less. As for Universal, we've never used anything like 14-days from a Universal ticket - we've only visited on 3 or 4 days per trip. I'm not sure I've ever even bought a 14-day Universal ticket.

Not even there for 14 days. I only buy the 14 day ticket because they make me to get the room offer, which works out better value than buying a cheaper ticket.
Next trip is 8 days, with 5 of those being park days. That's about average for me. |

We've used all 14 days of ours in 4 trips out of 6. We'll either use 13 or 14 days next time too as we're planning a trip to KSC and I'm not sure yet if we'll do that during our Disney fortnight, or our US week.

We will be using 12 days next trip but have used 14 when we’ve gone for 3 weeks. Some of the 12 days will be TL and BB though so won’t need the G+ for those

Probably 9 days out of a 14 day visit. Day 1 and 14 are travel days and then we have days out too.

If you get the 14 days for the price of 7 offer, as I did, it's a bit of a moot point. The extra 7 days are basically just thrown in free.

We generally use at least 13 as we tend to try and go for more than 14 nights now. Even if we go to Universal we might pop into a Disney park that evening for dinner. This year will be at least 13 again, maybe 14.

We usually use all 14 Disney days as the tickets are so expensive, we like to get full use. We Include water parks and mini Golf too.
As for Universal, we tend to get a 2/3 day hotel and ticket deal. Haven't been to Seaworld for a long time. |

We only usually go 10 nights max, 8 this Xmas, as we usually go to the coast etc when in Florida. So we will not go first night and use 7-9 days usually.

I rarely see the 14 day ticket NOT on that offer and even when it is, it's only a few £ more so it's basically just the price of the ticket. But it works in British marketing to say it's 7 days free since our market is very offer led.
But the question came about since Genie+ can only be bundled at a discount on the 14 day ticket. And a lot of people are buying it, even though they won't necessarily use all 14 days of the ticket. Which reduces the value of the discount, to the point it can end up more expensive than buying it per day if you're not using the bulk of your ticket. Edited at 08:32 PM. |
