Excited about Disney

Just got home- Our experience
Back from an amazing 2 weeks in Florida. It was SO GOOD to be back.
So first of all we got our pre departure tests done at Randox Health Liverpool One. Brillant couldn't fault them, results were back within half hour. Manchester Airport- When we arrived we wore our masks, the kids never & no one asked. In line for check in someone checked our covid vaccination status Top tip: print them off its so much quicker to show people! Also asked to see our test certificate too. Then we checked our bags and gave the kids attestation forms as ours were done online and went on through to security which was quick and easy as we used to special assistance line. Flight- Again all wore our masks, the kids never, had exceptions but again no one asked. I got talking to a crew member who said herself that they were understanding of children struggling with masks & it's even hard for adults on a journey that long. I think everyone tried their best to keep the masks on but I don't think the staff minded you having a breather as long as it went back on. We didn't have any problems, great flight and staff! MCO- We were directed straight to special assistance when the lady seen our sons flower lanyard. Again no one in the airport questioned the kids having no masks on. Mostly all adults we seen had masks on. Immigration was straight forward & no one asked about testing during our stay. Disney parks- Now Disney were serious about adults wearing masks indoors. Everyone was fine with this. They asked our son to get off a ride as he wasn't wearing a mask. He was very upset but they let him back through the fast pass line once another member seen him so upset. Just had to remember his mask. Our 4 year old twins were asked to wear a mask once. The rest of the time none of them were asked. Universal- They couldn't care less If you wore it or not lol. We done Disney first and we're prepared for Universal to be the same but nope, a lot more relaxed. Restaurants and shops- No restaurants asked us to wear a mask and only 2 shops in the outlets, one being Disney asked for masks to be worn. Only people unvaccinated had to wear them indoors by most signs. We booked our test and did our allocation forms the night before flying. MCO- when we arrived to check out they wanted to see our passenger allocation forms which we all had on our phones and our covid vaccination status. Again easier when printed off. All pretty much straight forward and again sent to special assistance line for security. Flight- Again no one questioned the kids not wearing masks & were pretty understanding with adults. Many had masks under their nose as they slept. Manchester Airport- showed our passports that's it. Were told on the flight to have the allocation forms ready but they never asked to see them. So easy enough after a long night flight! Hope this helps someone 🙏

Thanks this is great information. When we were at Manchester immigration a few weeks ago I was trying to work out what paperwork they needed but the officer said it’s all connected to your passport information. Makes it so much easier

When did you complete your passenger locator form, just trying to work out the 48 hours with the time difference. We are due to land at 8 am on Tuesday morning so thought 8 am UK time which would be 3am here or would it be 8am here. I just want to get them done
. Sorry for the total confusion 😕 |

Thank you.
Planning on booking with Randox in Liverpool ONE for our pre departure tests too. Thinking of booking for 7am then if results are through quickly I can check in with BA at 10am. Do they administer the tests or do you do them yourself? |
