Too Good to be True?

I know this is a trustworthy site. I recommend it to everyone but this is my first time trying out a car rental suggestion (Discount Florida Car Hire).

We are looking for a 15 seater on 28th June this year for 2 weeks. DFCH are coming out with Alamo for £666 Platinum? VH are £910 for max insurance and Alamo themselves $1385.

Does this tie up with people's experience? We've never had a 15 seater that cheap. It mentions Collision Damage Waiver etc. Can I really return it with two wheels for that price? (I mean I wouldn't, but you know what I mean).

I'd appreciate input, thanks guys!

Do a search in this forum for "Andy" or "DFCH" and you'll find 99.99% support for his quotes, helpfulness and delivery when Dibbers get to Florida.

The divergence of prices you've quoted is what a lot of people experience including us.

Hope the $ symbol on Alamo was a slip of the finger by the way. Don't get quotes from a USA site as they won't include enough insurance.

Mick

Thanks Mick, no that was Alamo.com's quote without adding any extras.

That's going to make my party stupidly happy. We genuinely had expected over £900.

If you have any queries at all just contact Andy through his web site. He will answer all your questions.

Just make sure that you do "skip the counter" with Alamo. So much easier if you avoid the terminal desk. Alamo do this for however you hire them but it's very easy with DFCH - just stay on his web site and you do STC easily.

I’ve booked with Discount Florida Car Hire for the first time this year as they were cheaper than Alamo direct. I was able to do Skip the Counter as soon as I paid the balance.

I always try Auto Europe for a quote, as they show you the prices from 10 or more suppliers, then you can choose... give it a try
