I know I have to present the card do they swip the magnetic stip on the back of the card or do the use chip and. I dont have any other cards I can use. Am I able to swap card details on alamo save time or once they are entered is that is?

Most places in USA still "swipe" so its best if you get a new card. Chip and pin is still "coming" in USA
The bend "shouldn't" affect your card however cant you get a new one?

They swipe the card.
a simple way to know if it works, is to use it in an ATM here at home. ATMs will reject the card if they can't read the mag stripe. (it's read as it enters the slot, so it will not even fully into the machine if the stripe is damaged) but as long as you have a card that's in your name (main driver's name) that bears the visa or mastercard logo (and is not prepaid), they'll be happy with it, even though it's not the one you used for StC so if you have another one in your name, they'll be fine with it. |
