Single Parents on cruises?
I am considering the DVC offer of a free 3 day cruise on the Disney Dream as 1 adult and (probably) 2 children (not sure if DD age 17 will want to come) but have never done a cruise before.
Is it all geared up to 2 parent families? - I'm just worried I wouldn't enjoy it or stick out like a sore thumb Any advice welcome

We cruised on Disney Wonder in 2006 and have subsequently cruised on various RCI cruises. I am not a single parent but think you would love the cruise experience and 'fit right in'.
The liners have so many varied activities for all age groups, you would all be kept entertained from dawn til dusk (if you want to be). The Disney cruise is very welcoming. When you want some quite time, space onboard is plentiful too. Have a look at a website called cruisecritic.co.uk, people write reports on there cruise experience, the Disney reports may help answer your concerns. |
