We have taken out the policy to cover things like lost keys, and extra protection in glass etc. It just gives us peace of mind usually. Thanks, that’s reassuring, though I’m also going to call and get the details of the policy so I can relax. |

I took out a policy with money maxim last year to cover lost keys breakdowns etc as already had fully inc cover of CDW and SLI with Dollar booking.
Just check if you are declining the virgin insurance then the policy must have SLI cover (basically third party cover covering up to $1000000) as unlike in Europe and the uk third party is not included or if it is its to very low levels. As others said the CDW part of your policy will cover you for the damage to your own rental car. Good luck. Cheers. James Edited at 10:24 PM. |
