An engagement proposal with a big yes was made in the table next to ours which was really nice with a bunch of real red roses delivered to the table. I think they were castmembers from the large number of castmembers coming over to congratulate them.



The Rose is in another smaller room of the Castle with dining tables too and you can request to be sitted there.

The Rose is a hologram very nicely done.

After dinner we went back to Main Street to watched the Fireworks and as usual they were SPECTACULAR.

They have a new show, or at least one that I had not seen before that projects some videos (cartoons) all over Cinderella's Castle and it's syncronized with music and the fireworks.

The next day, Dec 28th we went to EPCOT also in a very relaxed mode. We arrived around 11 am stayed mostly in World Showcase, had fish & chips for lunch in UK. Today we had a dinner reservation in Morroco, Restauran Marrakesh. We really like the Morocan food so it was very nice for us. No princess today but we did see the belly dancers which I got on video.

After dinner when we came out around 8 pm it was raining, bough some ponchos and went back to the hotel to pack b/c next day we were going in a Fantasy Cruise. The EPCOT fireworks were cancelled.

Saturday December 29th, 2012

Cruise Day

Exitement was at it's peak. They came for our luggage around 8 am and we got readdy for breakfast, checked out and sat in the lobby untill the bus came to pick us up at 11 am. There were 10 passengers including us at Wilderness Lodge, so we stopped at another resort with about 15 more passengers and headed to Port Canaveral.

Today's weather forecast was 65% chances of rain. Boy did they get it wrong for the better

Boarding process was quite fast and we were on the ship by 1 pm.

And yes, that first impresion of the lobby will always take your breath away. Pictures of the lobby in a few posts ahead.

Our itinerary was:

Saturady Dec 29th: Boarding day.
Sunday Dec 30th: Sea Day
Monday Dec 31st: Sea Day. NYE Party with Fireworks
Tuesday Jan 1st: Saint Thomas - Pirate Night - Paradise Point cable car excursion.
Wednesday Jan 2nd: Puerto Rico, San Juan - Bacardi and Old San Juan excursion.
Thursday Jan 3rd: Sea Day - 12:30 pm Palo Brunch reservation.
Friday Jan 4th: Castaway Cay
Saturday Jan 5th: debarkation

2nd Dinner Rotaition: AP-EG-RC-AP-EG-RC-AP

I requested this rotaition about one month before our cruise so we could be at Royal Court on NYE formal night. But it turned out much better b/c we were three times in Animators Palate and were able to see all three shows in the restaurant.

I liked very much the 3 Sea Days b/c it allowed us to enjoy much more of the ship.

We were in an inside stateroom located at the aft (back) of the ship deck 7 number 7683 with a virtual porthole which we liked a lot. Some suprises will pop on it every now and then but we were never fast enough to capture it on camara.

This stateroom is located in an inside 2nd corridor which makes it more quiet and "secure/hidden". Some of our group had their magnets stolen

As we went into our stateroom our welcome gifts were there, The Castaway Silver back pack, the Bon Voyage decorations and what I had previously ordered The Touch of Romance picninc basket (no wine ordered) This picnic basket really suprised me and it execeeded my expectations, I'll detaile it later on.

At 3 pm we had our first group meet at Currents, deck 13.

Our groups name is The Ballyhoo Bash and I made the glow in the dark wristbands.

The best part of the cruise however was when my other half proposed to me on New Years Day (once I had recovered!) and the following celebration that lasted the remainder of the cruise and the following week that we had at Disney - amazing holiday!

For profesional photographers this pics were taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-w650 and with an iPhone 4s. None were taken by me, the credit goes to Katty and Liliam.

If the pic has a decoration on it then it was taken and printed by a pro from WDW or Shutters from the ship. They now assign a book folder and put all your pics there so it is so much easier to find them and safe keeping untill you decide which ones you want. We got all of our pictures on our last night.

A good thing here, back at the end of our Med Cruise I had payed for Shutters photo package of printed pics which we didn't use to it's full capacity. At the time they gave me two options, reiburse some money back or I could keep my picture control card and use it in another future cruise and that is what I did. I kept the card and didn't have to pay a penny on this cruise. So this pics came out at 08/2011 price.
