Disney Dream - Receiving Telephone Calls

DH and myself are considering a Disney 3 night cruise on our own whilst Nan and Grandad look after the kids. The boys are Type 1 Diabetics and its important my parents can contact us with any question/concern.

Can we be contacted on the ship/land? Will I have a signal on my mobile?

There is a number you can always call yes, but it costs a fair bit so I wouldn't be using it for general questions (I'd get them to call a pharmacist or doctor perhaps).
You will have mobile service for most of your trip on a 3 day but overnight, when the ship is travelling, you probably won't. Saying that though, you can sometimes get Cellular At Sea service, but it's very expensive and unreliable.
