Hi Mia_
The dining plans do not distinguish between adult credits and child credits, so if you are all fancying adult meals then you can use the three credits for adult meals... Another time you may want two meals between the three of you, we are a family of four and never got four meals, sometimes two sometimes three meals!

Also, the first time we had the QSDPMwe payed oop for drinks, then had snack credits left over in abundance, now we use the credits for the odd coke (get free water too as it is free and more hydrating!) on credits

That's true for QS credits but not TS credits.

I thought that this is only for QSDP? DDP, ts credit distinguish I thought. We didn't upgrade last time, and the credits for ts were listed separately

what about ordering from kids menu and paying with adult credit?
He is actually much younger looking, but will they question his age and his choice of order if he opts for kids menu?

Can you pay OOP for few kids meals and keep some of the credits?
Can the child order from kids meal and pay with adult credit?

apart from shows, character meals, buffets - are there any other exclusions where everybody have to use dinning credit?

mine is really fussy, sometimes he would eat adult steak and supper happy to do so, other times refusing to eat anything at all.
Re. Question 2, you can pay OOP for any kids meals but it would still be kids meal credits you are left with. The DDP differentiates adult and children's table service credits and deducts the correct amount each time you eat.

That's fine to do. Mine did that and sometimes (11 and 13) they even mixed and matched between the child and adult menu. They're very flexibke and helpful

I am sure you are able to do it this way of using an adult ts credit for a meal from the kids menu, you just wouldn't be able to use a child ts credit for an adult meal.

I did mention that the questions are for upgrading child to adult on ddp, but probably isn't very clear as there are multiple questions.

so, we could pay out of pocket if he wants to order from kid meal
he can order from kid meal
we should be able to pay for childs menu meal with his adult credit?

apart from increased tip on buffets, it seems good deal to upgrade then
