Working in the RFC would probably send me bonkers by the end of a shift - just being in the shop for five minutes sets my teeth on edge. I'm not sure I could have tolerated two hours

Subway & Chick Fil A Altamonte Mall Food Court The gruesome twosome wanted to take a trip to the Altamonte Mall (they wanted Hot Topic and Hollister - I wanted Yankee and B&BW  ) So we took the drive up to the mall. It was an easy drive - nice to see downtown Orlando and I'd recommend the Mall to anyone! Quiet and the twins picked up loads of bargains (and I spent a large amount on Yankee Candle but that's another story!) Lunch was courtesy of the food court.Me: Steak and Cheese Subway  Hit the spot. I love Subway and there were so many more combinations available stateside. The pulled pork with bacon one was to die for. DH & DD3: Chick Fil A  Kids meal for DD3. The waffle fries were very good!  Fillet burger for DH. He said this was very tasty and he'd eat it again.

Texas Roadhouse 192 We'd passed this one everyday for a week. No more! This was tonight's choice for tea so in we trooped. It did not disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, great food and dancing waitresses! What more could we ask for? Anyway, onto the food... Endless bread rolls  We all tucked into these. They were fresh and delicious with a lovely glaze on the top that made them very, very moreish! Me: Chicken and Ribs combo $16.79   This was delicious. Wasn't keen on the green beans but they were NOT what I came in for! I upgraded to chilli cheese fries as a side - oh my word! They were delicious but SO MANY OF THEM! The BBQ sauce on the meat was very tasty and I polished off the lot! DD2: Steak and Chicken combo $16.99  Another huge great quality meal. The chilli cheese fries were a good addition too. Another clean plate here! DH: Chicken and Pulled Pork combo $13,99  No complaints with this one and the portion was huge! DD3: Kids Meal $4.79  Some kind of chicken nuggets and cheesy fries. Another huge portion and DD3 struggled with this one. We were too full to help her too! DD1: Sirloin Steak and Chips $8.99   DD1 also had a bowl of chilli as a side dish. She said it was very tasty. DD1 polished this off and said it was one of the nicest steaks she'd had! Total bill including 4 drinks came to $79.86 not including tip. A real bargain for all the food that we'd had. We loved this place. So much so we returned later in the holiday for more
