I've found this from the Eurostar website:

"Prohibited items
So everyone can travel safely there are a few things we don’t allow on our trains, and we don’t just mean smoking in the toilets and clambering over the seats.

Below you’ll see a list of the items which are not allowed on board, or which will only be permitted if you seek special permission before you travel. With this special permission these items may be transported as registered luggage in the train’s hold. This special permission is not guaranteed however, so make sure you contact us well in advance if you have any doubts.

Bear in mind that this is not an exhaustive list. Any article which is inherently dangerous or which could be used to commit an act of violence or threat will also not be allowed. For example items such as imitation, replica or toy guns, ice axes, household cutlery, camping tools, shriek alarms, hypodermic syringes and butane gas canisters will not be permitted.

Not permitted
Unlicensed firearms (including replicas and deactivated firearms).

Ammunition (of any calibre, in any quantity).

All explosives (including fireworks and pyrotechnics) and imitation explosives or devices.
All items containing incapacitating gases, liquids or other substances (including CS gas sprays).

Flammable substances (e.g. lighter fuel, methylated spirits) except in minimal quantities.

Flick knives/gravity knives, lock knives and daggers; any knives with a blade over 3 inches/75mm in length (Note – standard folding knives with a blade no longer than 3 inches/75mm are permitted to be carried).

Any other item made, adapted or intended for use as an offensive weapon.

Any item which is not permitted to be carried in the country of boarding or destination.

Permitted only as registered luggage(to be transported in the hold)

Authorised firearms not requiring a certificate e.g. compressed gas or air powered match pistols.

Licensed firearms: a firearms certificate will be required and a European Firearms Pass may be required. The traveller must check in advance with the relevant national authorities in both the countries of boarding and destination. All ammunition must be removed.

Swords (including swords for fencing), sword sticks and other ceremonial weapons.

Crossbows, crossbow bolts, longbows, longbow arrows and starting pistols (subject to prior approval).

Dangerous sporting equipment
e.g. spearguns.

Open razors.

Please note, should security have any concerns about an item which they believe may represent a risk, Eurostar reserves the right to remove or refuse the item concerned."

I also found this under questions and answers:

"There are NO restrictions in taking your own food or drink on board the Eurostar.

There are also, NO restrictions with regards to taking toiletries such as perfume, deodorants, shampoo etc on board Eurostar.

Taking liquids on board:
Drinks can be taken with you on board, however please remember that all items must pass through x-ray machines on departure at the security screening point when checking in. Therefore drinks not in sealed containers might be refused (open cups etc and those with loose lids as they will spill their contents when passing through the x-ray machine). "

We've just come back today and took a shed load of liquid on Eurostar. I cannot praise Eurostar enough, what a fab way of travelling.
We took a small case FULL of drinks,(alcoholic and no alcoholic).
Our only problem was trying to carry it all!

We travelled on the Eurostar last month to DLP and took both aerosols and lots of soft drinks with no problems.
