I can't believe a single person has advised no pool heat!
I have June and December. I prefer May and September though. It was freezing last December (by Florida standards) but in May, June or September it is often sweltering and to me plunging into a cool/cold pool is so refreshing. I can understand people and their comfort, but I'd sooner save a few hundred bucks Villa I've booked in September has solar heat for the pool. Now that's the way to do it in Florida lol. I will probably want it turned down. |

We went for the heating (going late May) option mainly as the kids I would imagine would be using the pool far more in the evening than during the day (as at parks etc)... Villa owner done us a deal of £100 for the two weeks.

I would also recommend you take the pool heat it does come in a bit more expensive with tour operators than direct owner bookings. It is though, well worth it particularly for early morning and late evening swimming and when you have young children.
Personally I always have the heat on I am bit of a wuss I am afraid but the pool is a big bit of the holiday and it would be a shame if you found it too cold to go in. I think you might regret it if you didn't have it heated in April. Alison |

We went in May 2011 and wished we had known about pool heating our two boys were 7 & 10 but still found cold and temperatures were above average when we were there so would recommend.
