James villas key collection

Staying on Highlands Reserve booked with James Villas. Anyone know where our key collection will be?

Tour operators get their villas through agents who manage private owners’ villas, and usually allocate your villa on arrival in Orlando, so you will not know exactly what you will get until you arrive. (Not all homeowners accept tour operator bookings.)

You will have a great time staying at your own home from home. If you have any problems with an AOA rental villa, it is always a good idea to let the management company and the tour operator know straightaway. They are on hand to deal with any issues.

Hi, if you have booked with James Villas I am guessing that you have chosen a specific villa to rent with them. We considered listing our home with them but we didn't so I know that the key collection will be down to the owners of the villa and the arrangements that they have made. It might be a combination lock on the door or a key lockbox inside the villa porch. If you are unlucky you might have to stop off at the villa owner's management company to collect the keys.

Yes we have chosen a specific villa. Last time it wasn't so had to collect keys but hopefully this time as its a pre selected one we can head straight there!

Also hoping for more than one set of keys as there are four couples in the villa.

If you are lucky enough to get a keybox on the door ..you just tap in the number code ...so ideal for split parties
if you have booked a specific villa, I would ask what the arrangements for that villa are?

when we have had villas from James villas in Spain etc they normally let you know about 3 weeks before you travel
and don't be surprised if the name on your villa is different from the one on your paperwork
they often rename them , we spent ages looking for ours in Portugal one year because all the markers at the end of the road with the villa names on were different to what James called it ,really frustrating !

FYI we have never had more than one key. So be prepared! Of course you can leave it in the lock box if there is one.
