International Palms Resort

Hi

Were staying at the International Palm Resort in April and wondering is there a resort fee? If there is how much is it and whats the hotel like. We stayed at the Quality Inn last year which was spot on

The hotel quotes $7.50 + tax per day on their website.
This hotel is the ex Holiday Inn International and has been refurbished. IMHO a lot nicer than the Quality Inn, so if you liked that you will love this. Nice spacious rooms with coffee maker and microwave.
Nice buffet breakfast.
Their website has some nice pics.

Nice hotel, stayed there when it was the Holiday Inn and again in 2010 when it was the International Palms. Good hotel, tower rooms are bigger and better. Great pool area and location.

Enjoy xx

Hi!

We stayed here in 2010 in one of the Tower Rooms, we were expecting a $90 Resort Fee at the end and had held back some dollars for it but we never get charged for one.

They do charge for the bus to Epcot or TTC though!

We didn't like the pool much in all honesty, it was a bit dirty but I think they have had an upgrade to the hotel now though? Anyway theres some pictures 'I think' in my trip report under the Minions!

Edit to say theres no pictures just a review!

We are staying here also, going next week I haven't been advised by Thomsons of any resort fee so won't be happy about paying it?! I must admit, I was really worried about staying here after reading so many bad reviews but just lately they seem to be getting better, it certainly sounds like the refurb was much needed and has done the world of good. Hope you have a fab time

We stayed here over Christmas. Rooms were a good size and it was all very clean. We were in block D looking overlooking the car park which was surprisingly quiet. Although rooms were fine I did think the corridors and genereal areas were in dire need of decoration as well. It all looked a bit shabby until you got into your room. I stayed with just my two kids as hubby was working - I know he wouldn't have like the hotel but it was fine for what we wanted.

Reception staff were very helpful and there is a Universal Desk to book shuttle and tickets and also another desk for other attractions.

There is also an onsite shop which was staffed by some very odd women! but the prices didn't seem too bad.

I think you will be fine and have a lovely time!
