Some rides do shut cos of the weather - Flying Carpets to name one. Mostly the outdoor ones that aren't under cover

Been twice in December and going again this year.
There is no disguising the fact that it can be very cold but I think the atmosphere, lights, decorations, Christmas music, Santa and the parade, hotel atmosphere (I could go on!) more than compensates. And if there is no snow, 'snow' is provided a few times each day and always during the parade! Be prepared with suitable clothing and it will be very enjoyable and as someone said, pop indoors for a hot chocolate or retail therapy! All the hotels we have stayed in are extremely well heated, also shops, restaurants and indoor queueing areas. I've never encountered a ride closed due to the weather, though some food outlets may be closed, being more seasonal. Transfer best by VEA at €17 each or private taxi from €100, worthwhile for 6 or more. Edited at 12:40 PM. |

I have been in January 3 times and it has been very cold. I am going for Christmas this year and can't wait for the snow From what I can remember the rooms have heating until on the wall

We went in December and had freezing fog, I have never been so cold. So this year I am trying Florida instead.

We went 03 13-17th Dec. It was great really Christmassy. Fake snow, I would go back for sure at this time of year. It was cold but just wrapped up with layers. Walking round you don't tend to feel it so much it is waiting for the parades.

We went last year 19th to 24th December... was a lovely way to start Christmas and the decorations/parades/festive spirit is fab. It was very cold looked like it had snowed as the frost never lifted but we wrapped up well long johns and all and drank lots of hot chocolate and whipped cream!
