Booking with Disney then making changes?

Hi I want to take advantage of the free disney dining offer at the moment and would like to pay in full to trigger a 2-4-1 voucher for avios flight redemptions with BA on my Amex but am concerned that when the flights become available that they might not match up exactly with my booked dates at disney. Do disney allow you to move dates once you have paid in full?

They do indeed, subject to availability of course. If just a change of date, don't think they charge a fee? We didn't with ATD but someone should be able to clarify this for you

they charge £50 if the price goes down as a result of changes, and the difference if it goes up.
I have heard of some booking one room one night to lock it in at minimum deposit, but we always try and at least get close to what we want.

Unfortunately they won’t do a free date change unless the price goes up. If it goes down or stays the same you will pay an amendment fee, and of course the availability would need to be there as well.

The trick is to book the room you want but for one person , when you amend , add the second person so the price goes up, so no amendment fee.

So if I booked a room for my husband now with free dining and paid in full I could add me and my daughters at a later date and pay the original difference and get the free dining to? Or is it better to pay for a lower grade accommodation for us all and change to what I want for the dates I need? That would mean paying extra yes? sorry don’t want to get it wrong!

No you can book that way, when you add on extra people you are actually paying for the extra park tickets only so the price is classed as an increase so no extra chargers except the ticket price and yes everyone gets the free dine if in the same room.

You can add yourself and daughter later, yes. There is no need to pay for the first person in full now though, you can still pay the deposit.

I don't understand what you mean about booking lower grade of accommodation or why you would do this?
