True. Its not a great airport. Not many facilities. Wouldn't want to be stuck there for 12 hours.

Looking forward to reading about your trip. We've been twice to Crete and almost booked again for this year (I really fancy trying Elounda next time), but decided on Fuerteventura instead. I love Greece, it's probably my favourite holiday destination. As well as Crete we've been to Parga on the mainland, Lesvos, and Kefalonia (three times). Seriously considering Skiathos next summer as a couple of people have recommended it. Have a great holiday 👍

Elounda looks really nice and if it was nearer to where we are staying I would've certainly visited.

So i've been a little bit naughty and I haven't updated this trippy since the 3rd and it's now the 6th
Well on the 4th, I was up on business in London for the day so DW to DD to get a spray tan as she doesn't tan and she really doesn't want to walk around Crete looking pale
Whilst DD was having her spray tan DW went to get DMIL and DFIL's euros. Nothing else was done that day then
On the 5th DD had her acrylics done, I tell you girls and these beauty treatments Then DD and DW went to superdrug to buy the remaining toiletries like shampoos etc. When they came home DD double checked her suitcase and packed her handbag and her carry on.
When I finished work I rang up the company who are taking us to the airport to re-arrange the time they are picking us up. So they are now picking us up at 1am instead of 2:30am.
The plan of action for today is:
- drop our cat off at the local cattery
- get my and DW's euros
- weigh all suitcases
- make sure we have all the documents together
- pick up DMIL and the DFIL

I'll keep you updated throughout the day
