LOL at the bulls balls – my two would be the same if we ever tried it!

I went to New York with my friends when we were in our 20s and still remember those steps up and back down the SOL!

Id like to take my girls in the next couple of years - I don't think they're ready for all the walking and sightseeing yet. Your apartment seems like its in a good location so you can pop back for a well deserved rest. Those cakes look delicious.

Looking forward to reading more - thanks for all the detail.
Hi Diane,

I'm glad we waited until ours were a little older. They still don't have the same stamina as us though
But they really appreciated the trip and are desperate to go back.
We all fell in love with the place.

The apartment was a great find by the way. Having that extra space with teens is really needed. We'd 100% stay there again.

Thanks for reading

It really was a great start.
I don't think I could have been bothered to stand in that queue

Thanks for reading

Below a bit of trivia (not my picture), you mentioned the Bull and Titanic. If you look behind the bull for the Subway, that was the office of the White Star Line, where everyone waited for news of the Titanic.

oooohhhhh that's so cool.
Thanks for that!

We have just this week booked to go to NY for next March!

Can I just pinch your itinary?! We will certainly be copying everything you did on this day, right down to getting to ground zero before 8 and then going for breakfast and then onto the Statue of Liberty!I expect it is so much more thought provoking when it is quieter.

I will be looking out for the rest of your report

Thanks again.
Hi

Of course, pinch away
I'm so pleased we did it this way.
It was so quiet first thing like you can see.
We did the same thing for Times Square the next day which you will see soon. We were the first on the red steps. The hustle and bustle is fun with the great atmosphere but it's also great to have the place to yourselves.

Happy planning for March

Hi Lisa

I have been looking forward to your next instalment, it looks like a fabulous day was had! I so want to visit New York but my boys are too young for it, I think I will wait till they are teenagers so they can appreciate it more, I would love to do your itinerary, Im a history freak so would love Ellis Island.

Those cakes look amazing, great ending to the day!

Our family love Impractical Jokers too, I saw someone in an Orlando FB group had met Murr in Universal or Disney a few weeks ago and had their photo taken with him, so jealous

Looking forward to the rest!

Oh that's so cool.
Would love to meet Murr
I think I've watched too much of that show as I've started playing too many pranks myself.
We are proned to pranks in the family, but I've kind of taken them to the next level and I think it's gotten a bit out of hand

Thank you so much for reading.
I hope you get there when the boys are a little older xxx

Fantastic day! We love New York first visited in 1999 with my then 3 year old DD and 6 month old DS! They fell in love too and we have visited many times, back next August, must bag those crown tickets for the 9 am slot! Apartment looks great as do the cakes! Looking forward to the next day.
