You Are Now in a Queue - Disney Free Dining Experiencing High Demand

The highly anticipated Disney Free Dining opened last night and people have been getting their bookings made as quickly as they possibly can. Disney are using a website queue system to make the booking process fair on all.

However if you are still trying to book then you will need to join the website queue. At time of writing this the queue is over 1 hour.

I have been in the queue since 7am and still waiting! It is stating the estimated wait time is now 43 mins so it will end up around a 3 hour wait.
I bet there are no rooms I want after all that!

Normally you get a page say Stitch or Goofy ate the page as the website couldn't cope with the amount of people and it used to just crash. At least this way people can see where they are and not have to keep refreshing.

Me too! 2 hours and it kept flicking between 4 and 5 mins. For POFQ standard room as hoped.

Went through topcashback and the extra $100 went through so don't know if I'll get topcashback
Excited.

What is the benefit to booking today, over booking before the free dining/gift card offer ends in summer? Is it only room choice, and if so does that make such a difference to the price?

We will be booking a moderate (POR most likely), and haven't noticed much of a difference in the price between the rooms.

I am getting nervous now, with all this excitement, that we're going to miss out on something! We have booked free dining twice now, and both times booked June/July.

For us if you booked before 4 th May for an extra $100 gift card on top of the $200 one. Booked direct with Disney. Must admit booked because excited

At POR the difference between a standard room & a princess riverside view room can be a £1000 extra for 2 weeks (although this year obviously the minimum you can book on this free dining offer is the garden view room). You would also lose the extra $100 if you waited (had to register for that prior to release day)
