Hairspray

Why does it have such a strong “scent” ? I’ve tried several but their smell is overpowering - I don’t both wearing perfume if I’ve sprayed my Barnet.

Has anyone found a fragrance-free (or very mild smell) hairspray please ?

It's a bit of a toxic evaporating chemical cocktail - it's going to stink. Any perfume added is to try to mask the smell, it doesn't. I think historically people used egg white, probably doesn't smell as much, but I wouldn't recommend that either

I bought an Elnett 'unfragranced' one in Boots. There's still some chemical smell when sprayed but it doesn't seem to linger and is definitely less potent than other sprays.

Well they could make it smell more like perfume. I would like an Alien one please. Well done Linda for not say laquer, I got told off for saying that recently.

I like the Aussie one from Walmart. It’s not too strong, but holds my hair like nothing else! Try mine and then stock up in November!

I tend to find the ones in a pump rather than an aerosol don’t have such a strong smell
