Ladies - anyone been called back after routine breast screening?

Hi i had a recall after my screening. Everybody i met on the day of my recall appt was so absolutely lovely. I had repeat mammogram and a ultra sound. Thankfully got the all clear. You will be fine. Xxxxxx

I also had a letter after my first ever mammogram in April 2018 which arrived on a Friday, giving me a hospital appointment for three days later on the following Monday. I took this as a bad sign and spent almost the entire weekend in tears thinking the worst, made even more difficult as my DH was overseas on business. I didn't want to worry him by telling him what had happened, nor did I want to worry my Mum, so I kept it to myself which was difficult.

A friend came with me and I had a second mammogram plus an ultrasound and it was found to be a cyst which was drained there and then.

It's natural to worry, especially after all the issues you've had to deal with recently but just keep in mind that in the vast majority of cases, it turns out to be something minor as you've seen by this thread.
