Personally I think KSC is too adult for young children unless they are really into space and astronauts. There are lots of displays, rockets etc and very little for young ones to do.
I was 51 when I went and I found it interesting but wouldn’t be bothered about going again!

I went with my friend and her family when her nephew was four. We did the opposite and just did Universal. We found there was more shade than at Disney. The refillable drinks made it easier. He loved the 4D rides like Spider Man and Despicable Me and all the water rides. He loved Jurassic Park and we spent a lot of time in the Discovery Centre there. Harry Potter is amazing even if you're not a fan... We also did Busch Gardens which he loved and had a few chill days at water parks and at the mall. He loved universal.

As it's your first trip, and with children that age, you really don't need to spend money on anything else. There is so much to do in Disney - as well as the main four parks you have the two water parks, Disney springs, mini golf, visiting other resorts, and that's on top of spending time at the pool in your own resort.

As the for the rides, there aren't that many that your four year old won't be able to ride if they want to. Plus with good use of rope drop, extra magic hours and fastpasses you shouldn't find yourself in too many long queues.

We visited Kennedy Space Centre a couple of weeks ago and it is fab, however I would say it is of limited interested to smaller children. Like Universal I would save it for another time when they're a bit older.

Young children can enjoy Universal but won't miss it either especially if your DH isn't a roller coaster fan anyway. Disney alone is plenty.

There are things at KSC for younger kids but I won't bother yet unless the adults are desperate to go.

You don't really need Sea World either for 2 weeks IMO but that would be my choice to add.

We have been 4 times and have not yet done Universal, we are going for the first time next year when our kids will be 10, 8 and 3 as the older two now like Harry Potter and rollercoasters. In your situation I would save it until they are older.

Seaworld I didn’t hugely enjoy this year although the kids did like the shows. My DH and eldest who was then 9 did really enjoy Kennedy Space Center, but I stayed behind that day with the younger two that day, my middle one isn’t as interested in space and would have been bored.

There is plenty at Disney alone with those ages for the time you have, as you can do the water parks and mini golf too
