I flew with Norwegian and preferred the late arrival, compared to Thomas Cook's 4:40pm arrival. The 4:40pm arrival is a tease, as lubstill think you can squeeze something in, but we didn't get to the hotel until around 9pm.

With Norwegian I think we landed at like 8:30pm, and by 10pm we were in the hotel

We as a family are always up for saving money, one member of our family decided to book after the rest of us had booked virgin and so booked Norwegian because it was cheaper, by around £110.

We didn’t realise (our fault I know) you have to take into account the extras you have to pay for, so my cousin purchased two meals for the way out and back, £25 each way, the food was awful - as she is a vegetarian she was served cucumber sandwhiches. She was delayed on the way out by about an hour.

She caught her flight home last night. Huge queues at check in. Took her half an hour longer than our virgin check in. Her flight was also delayed last night by three hours, with no explanation as to why. When she asked one of the cabin crew what to do about her connecting flight, they said they didn’t know. She missed her connecting flight and has had to wait 10 hours in Gatwick today to get home.

Really sad and disappointed about the experience, and won’t be flying with them again. My cousin now wishes she had paid the extra.

It's very clear at booking that meals aren't included , as for delays, any airline can get delays (I have friends who were stuck in Vegas for three days after Virgin cancelled a flight due to tech issues) .
Instead of buying food on board she could have bought plenty of nice veggie suitable food at M&S at Gatwick for the journey . Airlines simply don't do nice veggie food (with the exception of some of the far eastern airlines) as a rule. If it wasso awful going out , why did she buy it again flying home though ?
