Last year the weather was great over the Christmas period ad we went to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and spent all day at both. However, we have been there at the end of the year and it not be so warm and seen frost.

If crowds bother you think carefully before you spend. Christmas and and NY week are like nothing you will have ever seen crowd wise. If you’ can get up early it can be fab. The parks open (fully) at 7am. Boxing Day me and DD were at the front of MK at 6.15am and entered an empty park at 6.45am. We stayed ahead of the crowd and rode 23 attractions before 1pm. Stayes on BTM for three rides without getting off at park opening. Great fun! By lunchtime the park was heaving. Christmas Eve at Epcot we came out of the Candlelight Processional to hit a sea of humanity. It was insane. We had a great two weeks though and it was fun to see the Christmas stuff but I would genuinely never do it again.

We love that time of year in Florida. I haven't been at Xmas but been twice in January and it could be either 6 degrees or 28 degrees! On warm days its plenty warm enough for waterparks. Just take a mix of clothes and be prepared for cool mornings and evenings but warm days.
