Mobile Budget for 1 day @ the Parks?

I was just wondering as a family of 3 (mom, dad and an 11yo) we are thinking of a budget of around 170 dollar for 1 day at a Disney or universal park. 170 dollar not for parking entrance tickets or Breakfast just for counter meals, drinks, snacks and some smaller souvernirs maybe. What do you all think of that? Doable or not enough? Any tips for Saving Some money are also welcome.

More than enough if youre not including tickets, parking or breakfast.

At the end of the day there is no requirement to spend any money over the ticket and parking. Some days we'll of only spent maybe 10 dollars at walmart for some water / snacks and not bought anything in the parks so 170 is more than doable

For Disney you can view the quick service menus and prices online so can see exactly what you would need to pay.

$170 would give you just under $30 per person per meal - more than enough for quick service (can get meals under $15pp).

You also probably won't want 2 full meals in the park if you have a decent breakfast before arriving, so would have more than enough money.

A quick service meal (including a soft drink) is around $16 for an adult and $8 for a child. A snack would be $5 or so. Non-alcoholic drinks are about $4, alcoholic drinks are around $8 (although this depends on the drink).

So, quick service meals at both lunch and dinner, a snack for each person in the afternoon, plus a couple of soft drinks during the day should cost around $120. That leaves about $50 for souvenirs.

Went in 2017 and a couple of days out of the 3 weeks we were there - we spent nothing in the park. Took packed lunch in a cool rucksack + water + took snacks. Kids loved every minute on the rides and characters.
