The South is ok, up to normal standards
I used to find it was rammed packed and hard to find a seat if going on the early Orlando flight due to the many other morning departures BA had. Never used to be when many years ago when it was also dual level but BA downsized due to traffic. I thought the South lounge was much better food wise than the old north (before they closed it for No1) offering which seems to be the general opinion on flyertalk.

Those going from heathrow to Miami from terminal 3 can use the BA lounge in T3 but I'd recommend they use the Cathy pacific lounge (allowed if status or club) rather than BA as it has a better lounge including full english breakfast buffet alongside continental. Would love BA to increase the offering in their lounge to include a full breakfast but it will probably never happen. The lunch in the south lounge did look quite impressive.

We found it quite busy but comfortable and well equipped. DH said the bacon rolls were nice.
