The museum is really well done - one of the best I think I have ever been to. And the Gumbo shop is fab and brilliant value !

The WWII museum looks fascinating, would love to visit one day.
My parents brought me back some of the praline that I spied in one of the stores you visited, its so good!
The buildings of NOLA are stunning, very unique

That praline cake looks delicious. I would have chosen that too!

I wonder why hurricanes no longer come in the souvenir glass.

It is a beautiful city but so odd, gorgeous buildings on one corner and then really run down on the next.
I'm getting more of those pralines next time .

Apparently too many tourists drinking out of the glasses on the street which is not allowed ( the glassware not the drinking) so hence the plastic cup so you can take it away ...

It’s a shame breakfast didn’t quite work out for you this morning.

The World War 2 Museum looks great. My grandad was on those Arctic convoys too.

We all need those times on holiday to just stay in and chill. It helps us to recharge so we don’t come back from holiday needing another holiday!

The photos are wonderful. I love all the balconies and street shots. The museum sounds great, good job you finally got some food and drink even though it was a bit off plan. The cocktails sound lethal!

The museum is excellent - and we learned from our mistakes on breakfast on the last trip. It was a really great place to chill out after being on the road - just being able to walk everywhere was so nice.

It such a scenic city - so much contrast in the streets, I loved all the houses. It was a lovely day - if a bit hot !
