Volcano bay if staying offsite in November
Thinking ahead...
We will have 14 day 3 park US tickets, but will probably aim to do a 1/2 day at Volcano Bay. What's it like to get to as an offsite guest (easy to drive to/park/ good changing facilities etc)? We will probably do one night onsite at US, but will be aiming to hit the 2 main parks hard for those days (as they close at 5pm in November). Thanks |

Can't help but be interested to know this too.
We have very similar plans, off site but one night at RPR, but similar to you we'd rather just focus on the theme parks for two days instead of trying to cram in 3 parks. Although looking at our times the main parks close at 7pm but we go early November.

If youre driving to Universal you park in the same garage as the other parks and then you get bussed across the road to the entrance. I guess if you werent driving you could maybe get dropped at Aventura or Cabana Bay and walk from there?
Changing facilities are good, same as any Orlando water park really except everythings a bit newer than Disneys offerings. |

Have read on previous posts, that it's better to take your own towels as it is quite expensive to borrow their ones!

It's super easy. You park on the dedicated lower levels of the Universal parking lot and then get on shuttle bus to gate.
As others have mentioned towels are pricy so bring your own. Don't be put off by the location, we were not that keen on going, but loved it, you really can't tell you are bang up close to the I4!
