Mobile Star wars world

Hi guys, we're going the end of October next year for my daughters 21st and I've heard that star wars world might be opening around that time. Does anyone know if this is the case and, if so, are all the parks likely to be mobbed because of this? Tia

I don't think a definitive opening date is known but it will be Fall 19 so they say.

I had a little nose on Saturday whilst on Slinky Dog as that's elevated and you can see loads. Star Wars coming along nicely.

Will that Park be rammed? It will be insane! That will continue for 3 or 4 weeks and it will then settle down to just being mad.

In my mind we will avoid DHS for our Nov 19 visit and leave it for Spring 20.

Thanks for the reply. I kind of thought DHS would be rammed. My worry is the rest of the parks in Orlando being equally as busy lol

My understanding of the timescales for opening of the Star Wars area was that it would be "Late Fall" which in theory could be up to the 21st of December.
We are booked to be there from November 16th to the 30th, if it's open when we are there, great if not it's not the end of the world & we'll go next time.

All we know is that Disney have said it will open in "Late Fall" 2019. That could be any time from October until the middle of December. We have no idea beyond this information on when it will open.

So it *might* be open by the end of October. Or it might not. I wouldn't like to bet either way.

If it does open sometime in mid-to-late October then Hollywood Studios will be mobbed when you are there. That's almost guaranteed. In the past, a new land opening in one park hasn't had much of an effect on the other parks - so I expect the other Disney parks will be slightly busier but not mobbed like HS (although remember that MK is almost always busy and the Food & Wine Festival will make Epcot busier than normal).

This is my own personal guess but I think it will either be...

Around Thanksgiving 2019 - Crazy busy! or...

December 2019 - when Star Wars - episode 9 - is scheduled for release.

Either way the first few weeks/months are going to be mad there, part of the reason why we are putting our trip off till middle of 2020.
