Amphicar - Disney Springs
Hi all
Thinking about maybe booking the Amphicar experience as a surprise for my partner Kirk (purely because i'd love to see his panic when the car is heading for the lake and not more land ). I've seen that this costs $125 for 20 minutes but is this for both of us or is that per person? Would anyone who has done it recommend it and the price tag or is there another experience much better suited for me who is a Disney nut and him who is not into it at all

It's $125 per car not per person. You get $25 off if you're eating lunch at The Boathouse too.
There's also the Characters In Flight balloon at a Disney Springs which is $25 each and gives you some great views! |

To be honest I'm not sure how long the illusion that you're not going far on land would last.
Maybe the Yorkshireman in me but how about a 20 minute boat ride from DS to POR which is free Mick

Didn't realise it was that expensive! May just go on the balloon twice

Seriously we love a boat ride on WDW property.
We regularly post on here about always doing a resort tour even though we never stay on site. Apart from DS we regularly go to Boardwalk and do the Y&BC, S&D, HS boat ride. We've also got the boat from Wilderness Lodge across to MK then the tour of the monorail resorts. There's no limits to how a tyke can extract value for money

Yeah I don't think I'll be able to fool him! Haha I'm in Yorkshire too but not born and bred...perhaps that's why I keep booking all these nice holidays and Kirk (who is a born and bred Yorkshireman) is constantly trying to get me to calm down on it!
