Alamo or Avis?

We normally collect a car from car care centre so always use Alamo, but this time we are staying off site so collecting car at MCO.
I have booked with Avis as they were the cheapest but after reading about problems with extra charges I'm getting a bit worried. We have free cancellation so I've just checked Alamo who were a lot more expensive when I booked but now the prices have dropped a little and can get an intermediate car for same price as the standard car I've booked with Avis.
It's just me and DH this time, and only 8 days (a cheeky anniversary trip, kids staying with my parents) so should I stick with Avis or cancel and book with Alamo?

Avis were very expensive when we went last December. Check out the Alamo Brits website.

They are both the same price for our dates, so just wanted to know which one is better. Last time we collected a car from MCO was 10 years ago, that was with Budget and not a good experience.

Personally, I've never had an issue with extra charges or quality/cost of Avis cars

It's been a long time since I booked with Alana, but safe to say it will be a Ling tine before I ever do again
