disney cruise planning kit

Hi we have booked the 4 day cruise with virgin , via Thomson holidays , and I keep reading of a cruise planning kit which people keep recieving , is this sent out by DCL or will it arrive with my tickets from Virgin . it appears to be sent out quite early

We got our sent from DCL after we booked through Dreams Unlimited. It did take a while after we booked. I think it was about 3 months afterwards.

I booked directly with DCL and we got it in june/July for our October cruise.

Hi Lesley

It comes in a large A4 size brown envelope from DCL. It contains a letter with the dates of when you can start booking things on line. It also contains a folder called My cruise travel kit. In this there are details of all excursions, Quick tips for smooth sailing, gifts you can buy, setting sail and the details of the Insurance if you took out DCL insurance.

I was pleasantly surprised when this came through as I thought the only thing you got were your tickets.

Seem to remember getting ours once we'd paid an full, which was about 3 months b4 cruise!

We got ours about 3 weeks after booking and were really excited when it dropped through the door. It made the cruise seem 'real'! and gave us some great ideas for planning our days.
