DCL needs to do a warm one lol
We're on the Magic the previous week round the Med - that should be warm enough for you!

Yip Med cruise on our bucket list... BUT pricey

sounds odd though as I'm going to Iceland & Norway in August on NCL but do love a Tranny to the Caribbean

Wasn't bad actually when we booked. That was back when paying dollars wasn't a nightmare though!

I think most of this though is actual the rise of the dreeded Facebook groups more than the cruise route.

I think it will be nice until the Azores then after it will be cold and miserable but never mind! I'm not committing to the 2018 TA til I've experienced this one and can decide on whether or not I can cope with the weather. All others have been southern routes and I've loved the sunshine.

I haven't been to NYC for a long time, so even though next years is also a NYC one, I think I will still book it.

Then I just need to decide what to do with the rest of the week when I arrive. Spend some time in NYC or catch an internal up to MCO? Or maybe a couple of days of both?

I am spending a day in NY this year rather than flying down. When I looked at flights I decided I'd rather do longer in FL next year instead so decided against it.
