Anyone taken a steady cam in to the parks?

Subject header says it all really, has anyone been refused to take one in to the parks?
This could have posted in the West coast 'section' as well.

Have taken our go-pro gimbal mount which has a short handle like that. Only had it questioned once, and as soon as we showed the handle didn't extend it was fine.

I took this handle for my gro pro last year. Sadly they confiscated it at magic kingdom at bag check, regardless of me explaining it wasn't an extendable handle. 😕
