We don't. I have a memory of going to Downtown Disney one year we stayed in LBV and I felt so unwell I wasn't sure I could drive back to the hotel. Now we just hang around the hotel and go to sleep when we're tired.

Nope, not in 10 visits.
Very early start at a park the next morning though!

We crash as close as possible to normal UK time and make the most of the time difference for an early start the next day or 2, slowly adjusting our body clocks to maximise the use of those extra morning hours. We arrive at 6pm this trip which is later than normal and I suspect we wont even want to eat at that time and will just crash.

Nah no way. I only ever buy 14 days worth of Disney passes & I'd rather keep the option of doing Disney the final day. It's also too much time pressure, rushing around, getting even more stressed in immigration if the queue is long. Just a lot of rushing around after a cramped 9 hour flight.

If time allows I'll maybe hit Disney Springs for the evening, get some quick service food & sample the atmosphere. Even that's a bit exhausting though after a long day of travel.

Quite relieved that my flight times this year probably won't allow for a Springs visit. Flight won't land till 8pm and after immigration, picking up cases, the magical express & checking in I'll be pushing 10pm..possibly later, before I get my cases into my room. Springs is open till midnight but I almost definitely will be heading straight to bed!

We did it back in 2012 when we stopped on site said we wouldn't do it again
Last 2 years we have just had a meal then bed
Up next morning early
Won't be doing either next year
As we are going for 3 weeks and only getting 14 day Disney and Universal tickets we intend to do big shop at Walmart on first day
Then relax around pool then probably Disney Springs on the evening
We plan to do DC this trip so probably Seaworld or BG on our 2nd full day

When we stayed at the Beach Club we walked to Epcot and a couple of times at other resorts we've been to the Magic Kingdom on the bus. It really just depends on how we feel on the day. This is just for two adults though, I'm not sure I'd do it with kids in tow. Save the Magic for the next morning when they'll be wide awake and wowed by it.

We always grab a bite to eat and head for the pool, this keeps us going for an hour or so and we feel like we are on "Holiday". It also means than we don't waste a full day ticket on a couple of hours
