Something different or special to do

Hi all

We are going to Florida for our 6th visit and although we are still visiting Disney and Universal, we fancied maybe doing something a little special or different maybe on one or two days or evenings - anyone got something that they think would be fabulous for us to enjoy. We are staying at Emerald Island - there are four of us in the family - me, DH, DS and DD -thank you

Go over to the Gulf Coast for a day or stop over a night. Its beautiful !

We've been to St Pete's, Clearwater and this time we are going to Anna Maria Island for the first time.

It time away from the parks to chill, see beautiful beaches, swim in clear warm water and watch for Dolphins - heaven !

Have you been to Anna Maria Island, lovely beaches and watch the sunset. The sandbar was amazing, The Paradise Dolphin Tours were ok but we didnt see many dolphins because there was a storm before hand! We are going to try and watch a car race next year which will be new for us and it will be our 6th visit! Xx

I was going to say as above! We are doing two weeks at Disney this summer but 'if' we go back I'd be looking at an extended holiday with a few days at the coast.

Thanks all for the great ideas - our son (aged 23) wants a day at the beach and we were thinking Daytona but maybe we should look at the Gulf coast instead
