Evening parking at Boardwalk?

We are planning an evening visit to the Boardwalk next year to soak up some Disney magic and see the Epcot fireworks. I know parking is very limited there so can you park at Disney Springs and get a bus?

Yes, parking at DS is by far the best way to visit Boardwalk if you're not eating there.

There used to be overflow parking behind the gas station with no barrier on it but now it's strictly for CM's use and is regularly patrolled by security staff.

I don't I'm afraid - we're always tucked up in bed by then.

This link says they run from DS until 2.00am but not clear from resorts to DS. Any WDW guests services will tell you when you're there.

You might be OK - we've always parked at the boardwalk any time of day no bother. The most recent time was January... Unless it's all changed since then! Just need to show your ID at the gate

Parking at Boardwalk always seems to be under pressure if you're not resident or have a dining reservation. Even residents have said on here that it's difficult especially if there's a convention on.

Sounds like you were lucky.

Or do you mean you were a resident as you showed ID?

No wasn't a resident just showed my drivers license for ID! Have been a few times no probs... Will see again next month too! 😉

Bit surprised at his. Stayed there for 2 weeks last August and had our magicband scanned nearly every time. Was asked for drivers licence twice as well. And yes - parking was frustratingly pretty scarce.

It is supposed to be for residents and people with dining reservations after all. Otherwise what would stop people parking there to save the parking fee at EPCOT.

They run late. In an emergency you can always get the valet people to order a taxi for you.
