Cruise and Flying Same Day?
We're planning on booking the September 7th 4 Night Cruise, which is the last bit left to book of our holiday.
The day our cruise ends (Sept 11) is the day we also fly home, but we're not flying until 6.30pm. We won't have a car, so I have no idea what to do - we'll also have all our luggage with us. I have visions of us being at MCO for 12 hours! Anyone else had the same problem or have a solution? |

we booked a car to take us to DTD from the port where we checked our luggage in with Virgin. We then had the day free to do what we wanted before getting a cab to MCO early evening... Who are you flying with? Do you ahve that option? I know both Virgin and TCD allow people to check in early the day of flying (TCD at Lake Buena Vista). If not you could book a day room at the Hilton, MCO and leave your cases there and pop over to Florida Mall (not far) by cab? Or I beleive Gator Land is nearby too...

We have got this same problem in April next year.
I am leaning more towards getting a cab to DTD and checking in there and enjoying the day there (or maybe one of the parks) and then getting a cab to pick us up at 5pm for the airport The hotel is our other option but not sure i want to be cooped up! |

Thanks for your quick replies guys!
We really don't want to have to book a car, because neither of us wants to drive out there - it looks scary! I forgot about DTD Check-In, silly me since we did it this year! I think that will be our best bet. Does anyone know what time the check-in desk closes? It would be nice to spend our last day at the MK! I've not been on a cruise before, so I'm not sure what time we will be done getting off the ship and through customs, etc. |

we got off the ship around 9 am (one of the last) and car was waiting. Check in at DTD was busy but it doesn't close til around 1 pm I think so plenty of time, then you cna hop over to MK if you like
