what is a good age to take kids cruising
we definatly want to do a disney cruise and i know it's disney but i want the kids to be old enough to enjoy it and get the most out of the clubs and be willing to spend time in them so dh and i can get some adult time. I was thinking of it for our 2009 trip but kids will still only be 7 and 5 and i'm not sure they would want to spend much time away from us at that age

I am taking my kids (4 and 7) for the first time next month.
If they want to play in the kids clubs then I will let them but if not then they will be with us ~ either way ~ it's up to them I think at 5 and 7 your kids will have a blast!

I'd day that would be a good age and at 5 & 7 they can go to the same kids club which might help. It seems that they have excellent activities for children and while they might not want to go all the time I am sure there will be things that would appeal to them.
Check out Michelle's thread there are some pictures of the navigators which show the type of activities the 5-7 year old group do.
