Transport few a staying at the beach club

We are staying at the beach club but have car hire.
Only doing Disney parks.
Which parks should we drive to and which should we use other transport?
Is parking free at the parks for Disney guests?

If you are on-site I'd just use the Disney transport

Yes, free parking for onsite guests. From any of the Boardwalk/EPCOT resorts the only park I would consider driving to is AK... and even then only if I was going somewhere other than back to the resort afterwards

OP. In the location you are staying at I would use the car for them all apart from Epcot.
Flexibility! No waiting in line for a bus, no being turned away as it's full. no being rammed in like sardines.
Can't you tell I detest buses!
People say a bus is the quickest way to the MK. Yes it is - but only if the car driver and bus driver leave at the same time. If you wait 15/20 mins for a bus I will win.

Sorry but I disagree. If you drive to MK you need to park the car - now further away unless you pay the extra $15 for premium parking - and then get the monorail or boat to the main entrance. The bus is almost always quicker.

We also walk to HS as well as Epcot, because unless a boat is at the boat dock walking is quicker to HS. Although when I say we walk, I actually mean my wife walks and I use the mobility scooter I unfortunately need to use now.

Even though I have a disabled parking permit, the only place within Disney we drive to is Disney Springs/Downtown. I must admit we don't go when it is very busy and try not to leave at park closing if we're using the bus - leave before the parade, fireworks or park closing, or just chill for an hour and wait for the queues to disappear.

From Beach Club I would:

Walk to Epcot
Bus to MK

Drive to the other two. The boat takes too long IMO as it stops at BW and Swan/Dolphin on the way to HS.

Welcome! You've hopefully realised that for most questions on the dibb there are no right or wrong answers, and rightly so, we can just give you our opinions and experience!
We like to pitch up for the first day at MK via the ferry boat, so that would be car! other times we might take the bus. Depends purely on your plans and preferences. I like the freedom of having a car (don't like the crush when leaving at park closing time, though that applies to getting on the carts too I suppose!). Get to the parks early, or very late, and a space near the front of the parking lot will avoid the need to board a cart, (with all the delays and tiresome announcements they have to make).
We took the boat to HS, yes it is longer but not by much and better than walking in the August heat!
A car is great though for flexibility (and for trips to Target! )
