Hi I plan on using Uber to do this. Supposed to be much cheaper than Mears and taxis. Just download the app to your phone. They are just like a taxi service and will give you an estimate of the most the trip will cost you. The payment os taken from your card so no need to worry about cash and also no need to tip. There is a section about it on the dibb main site somewhere. Uber works in most of the uk too, so you could always try it out over here first.

We used Uber last year and I couldn't fault the service, it was a lot cheaper than other taxi companies. We just downloaded the app before we went and you upload your card details and the amount is automatically deducted from your bank so there is no cash involved.
Hope that helps xx

Uber would be your best bet cheap quick
If you go via the bus 🚌 it would take over an hr possible 2 hrs to get there :-(

Excited about Disney
|
We got the bus/boat from our resort to Disney springs & got a taxi from there. Uber is probably your best bet in terms of price though.

We stayed at POR in 2014, walked out the front door, Cast Member on the door says can I help you with anything, we said yes a taxi please (pre uber) he waves at parking lot and a taxi pulls up!
Cost to Universal was $45 including tip for one way. It drops you near the escalators before City Walk. If I needed a taxi this time, I would use Uber. We liked the convenience of deciding when we wanted to go and when we wanted to leave rather than booking the much cheaper Mears option. |
