On site PCR testing Edinburgh airport

Looking for help.. In Orlando now and fly home on Friday 10th December. Does anyone know if we can get tested on arrival in Edinburgh airport. My husband starts a new job on the Monday and hoping to get results ASAP.

Express test have a facility at (or very near) the airport I believe. There is also eurofins in Livingston.

Can't say re the airport, but we used eurofins drive through in Livi on return from Tenerife in October and we got the results through the same day. Wasn't advertised as express, so were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we got the all clear!

I'm not sure that the websites have been updated with the new requirements yet.

Who have you ordered your current tests from as you will need the registration number for your personal locator form? They might allow you to upgrade from your LFT to PCR

Express Test at the Edinburgh airport. Very efficient fast service, just beside multi storey car park, once you have got your cases just walk over.

They haven’t updated their website yet for the new PCR requirement but we have used them several times and had results within 5-6 hours. Eurofins in Livingston is another option.

Thanks for all the helpful replies... we currently have Lft booked with Chronomics but they will be no use now 😡. Have just noticed that Nicola Sturgeon is pushing for isolation for 8 days on return to Scotland and testing on day 2 and day 8. Hope not !
