Just had an email from Expedia to say my Sofitel Gatwick bookings can’t be honoured…the hotel is closed from 3rd December so I guess it’s going back to being a quarantine hotel?

So it’s Bloc for us again which I’m not over the moon about but I guess we’ll do what we have to do to get there.

With this last minute panic on top of the other last minute panic with the variant and potentially increased testing requirement…where’s the gin!

same for us! Said we can still park at Sofitel and get the monorail over to the Hilton.
Paid quite a bit for Sofitel so working out if I'm losing out?
Small price to pay though if we can still go.

Yes absolutely, just one of those things and I will take these minor inconveniences (scrabbling for a late booking last night) if we can still go. At least we’re saving some money going to the Bloc instead of the Sofitel .

Well its FB “chatter” from different people but the one thing they all say is PCR 24hrs before departure - I wont quite them but those that follow me there can see it

I hope its not PCR but, to be honest, I have booked mine at a clinic in Victoria recommend by a friend from FCDO - belt and braces MF
