The NHS app gives you the date you tested positive and has been used in the past to say you have imunity so will have to see if UK goverment use it in this situation.Travel will be ruled out for a lot of people if they are testing positive due to this.

I tested positive on PCR elite at along with my DW and DD I am still testing positive on LFT they are both testing negative. We were meant to be flying on the 19th when I can speak to BA we will cancel this

Is it actually that common to still test positive? I had to take a pcr 16 days after testing positive and it was negative. Not a big sample I know! I was unlucky and tested positive on holiday this summer but my day 2 PCR was negative. I had read the whole 90 day thing but had no choice but to test.

36 since positive test.

We will cancel anyway as I am worried about rules changing and having to iscolate, not unduly bothered just need to be real.

What was funny was PCR test at the time we were all positive but on LFT on DD and myself were positive DW was negative

I read close contacts of Omicron cases are required to self isolate, unlike Delta where it was just advised.

With that in mind I hope the day 2 results will show whether or not the test picked up Omicron so that there is clarity. I don't want our whole family having to isolate purely because of a prior infection and recovery in our daughter.
