Both Costa Rica and all the Caribbean islands and Mexico are wet throughout our School holidays ( late July/August). Much like our trips to Disney😀

If you want dry, sunny weather head east rather than west. Greece, Cyprus, Dubai etc. No chance of any rain here.

My lovely family have decided they want to go to the Caribbean and to be fair nowhere else ticks all the boxes.
As Tui want £50 pp to change the booking I'm not inclined to give them £750 to do no more than click a few buttons so the kids will have to put up with Costa Rica. 😁 Shame isn't it?

I would love to go to Aruba unfortunately (for me) two of the party are balking at the price. Apparently they could have two holidays in Turkey for less.

I think you'll be fine weather wise. We went to Barbados the last two weeks of August and it was fine. A shower most late afternoons.

Looking and CR and Barbados are lower than the rest of the carribean islands which is why they are outside the main hurricane belt.

I'm sure you'll have a great time.
