I enjoyed it , lots of good memories- I couldn't understand why I was teary eyed at the end but a someone else said it was the traditional music at the end - i was transported back to when the whole family sat together and watched the same programme with no phones or tablets - happy days with mom and dad

Really loved the original series so quite surprised how much I enjoyed the new one 👍

Loved the scenery,but some of the scenes weren't true to life,eg carrying through the two cats before the op mishap,two cats from different houses would have torn each other and the vet to shreds lol,

I enjoyed that it wasn't a direct copy but still within the constraints of the book. I though Mrs Hall was a little young but I like her character. I was amused at how similar the theme tune was to the original.

But I did find it was on at an odd time of day for a show that could be enjoyed by the whole family.
