Disney 2021 sept 26 onward

Why are the resort hotels and tickets only available upto the 26th
Is Disney only taking special bookings after those dates due to th 50th anniversary

I don’t think they’re taking any bookings beyond that date at all. And yes I believe it’s due to the 50th. No idea what’s going on.

I think it's possibly more to do with current events. I managed to book for November 2021 back in early March (Way before lockdown and seeing how serious this pandemic is) but my sister and her family, who were thinking of joining me can't book anything yet.

Maybe they're working out how to carry out the 50th anniversary celebrations/crowd level management/booking capacity's if we're still observing social distancing and other COVID measures.

we'll have to see come October/November if they open up bookings for those months next year.

It's all to do with the 50th starting in October, 26th Sept is the cut off to stop guests from making a booking the "catches" the start of it. The y have a lot riding on it so I'd expect inflated prices both in park tickets & hotels.
As far as current restrictions, they will be hoping to be able to run at full capacity by then- Being cynical I expect the USA to make a "miraculous " recovery after November!

I have a booking that runs from,20th September to the 4th October so this runs into the 50th celebrations. I have only been able to book park reservations up to and including the 26th September. Waiting to see what they are doing after this date , as would like to start planning lol.
