Have taken out my ”little red book” of Christmas planning that I use every year.

We’ve just been thinking about Christmas foods! Bit early I know. It just feels quite autumnal at the moment so the perfect time to think about food that isn’t salad!

I will do but I’ve had them on the mantel and banister and they are just not right
So I’ve wound the lights in added the decorations I thought were going in ( DH really love me for that well if he’d followed the how it goes back up the loft plan it have been a 2 min job but no not him I did specify low number boxes / crates at the front and Christmas has all red lids and stickers)
But the kitchen and airing cupboards smell all autumn and Christmas heavenly

I’ve just had the first taste of my sisters home maid lemoncello oh my can’t wait to taste her sloe or damson gin
We are really trying this year to do as many home made / upcycled gifts as we can
All using our talents and hobbies ( ps she can sew bake preserve but can’t cook for toffee ) she’s getting the champagne break fast for 2 and a Boxing Day buffet hamper
From Santa minus the chutneys pickles etc
