It looks fine either way. I honestly initially thought it was two different women though😀

You really suit both but think I did prefer the shorter blonde one. The only thing I would think about is if we have to head back into lockdown. Might not be as easy for the roots where a dark shade that wouldn't be an issue.

Your hair is really nice in both pics, but the second pic suits your eyes and skin tone best.

Around mid-forties many of the women at work adopt the dreaded Superdrug yellow bob, and straw short mullet.
It really is hard to fathom as they often had lovely hair beforehand.
Before 'lockdown' we went out to celebrate a tax office retirement at our favourite Italian in Chester.
Quite a few travelled in on the bus together which parks near The Falcon, so we could see them walking down the hill towards us as we sat inside.
One woman with us had a wry grin so I asked what was tickling her ? She pointed out of the window. " Never noticed before - look they all have the same hair. "

If professionally coloured and well maintained it can look fine. Though it can be ageing as it is associated with those in their fifties or sixties plus.

I think you look young enough to stay clear of that style for now.

I think you look a lot younger in the second photo and it really suits you.

I vote for pic one but you must do what you are feel is best.

From your name I imagined you having a choppy hair style. I'm so shallow.
