Car hire while at Disney
Next year we plan to stay at Disney for 14 nights. 5 of those nights are complementary from Disney and include free parking. Is it easy enough to hire a car while in Disney?
Having never driven in Florida, how do you go into a resort car park or theme park car park. Do you use your magic band? Probably a silly question.

I didnt drive but hubby did, theme parks have booths on entry where you pay, its so easy loads staff tell you where to park. My husband finds it easier driving in Florida than UK.
Our car hire was in with package holiday. |

Just to add to tapley, there's nothing wrong with booking the vehicle through the website whilst you're out there 24-48 hours before you want the vehicle but I certainly wouldn't walk in and book the vehicle with them on the day otherwise it'll be very expensive.

To echo what Andy says I can give you an example.
Two years ago I was swapping out a dog at the Alamo Car Care Centre by the MK. Am American was stood next to me at the Counter and was arranging a hire. He wanted a Camaro or Mustang for 5 days. Unusually for an American he wanted Insurance as well instead of using his own. He also wanted contents theft cover and a few other little bits. His bill was a tad less for those 5 days than I had paid for a Standard SUV for 3 weeks!

Car hire and driving in Florida is very easy, especially if you are used to driving in a large town/city in the UK. We always use either Dollar or Alamo. Orlando is super easy to navigate, especially if you have this map orlandomaps
